EDUCATOR Plus® Canon TM300 compared to other education printer packages
The EDUCATOR Plus®Canon TM300 stands alone when compared to other education printer packages.
The EDUCATOR Plus® Canon TM300 outperforms other packages in many ways due to the expertise of the AGC Educations Implementation Success Team.
This team is there for our school partners to help them maximize their investment. Other companies may offer the Canon printer in their package, however, their experience in large format printing does not compare to AGC Educations team.
EDUCATOR Plus®Canon TM300 Packages
The EDUCATOR Plus uses the Canon TM series models.
You can choose from 24″, 36″ and 44″ printer widths.
The EDUCATOR Plus does include Poster Artist design software and the PASS Education Specific Template Libraries. This software and template libraries can be installed on as many Windows-based computers you wish. The advance printer driver also allows you to print documents you have as a poster or banner, directly to the EDUCATOR Plus Printer from a MAC or PC.
The Canon Printer Technology is always evolving to assure that you are printing using the least amount of ink possible. This is why AGC Education uses the newest Canon printer as the engine of our EDUCATOR Plus system. We also offer education and quantity discounts on all supplies.
Other Educational Printer Packages
Many education printer packages offer low-end models of printers in their package. These printers last around a year in a school environment where the printer may sit idle for weeks. This causes these printers to clog and fail.
Many packages force you to use their provided computer and software to run the printer. The printer is most efficient when installed onto your own computer to allow printing from your current files and programs in addition to the provided software and templates. In addition, many companies include a scanner and suggest an “easy operation of scanning your document and outcomes the poster”. This would require you to print an 8.5″x11″ document in full color, then scan it to print it again at a poster size… Schools have scanning capabilities. There is no need for a scanner to be connected directly to your poster printer. This is a way to hide costs and overcharge the end user.
Low-cost printers, equal high-cost ink usage.
The cheaper the printer, the more ink it will use.
Give away the razor to sell the replacement blades.
